We support sustainable practices in our thrift and food programs by recycling clothing and shoes and rescuing quality food typically routed for the trash, and when necessary, turn to organic recycling for food loss.

You can help by recycling with us!
Put your used clothing, linens, and shoes in any condition in a bag marked “recycle” and bring it to the Basic Needs Thrift Shop. We earn three cents per pound, which adds up!
The revenue from recycling goes back into our programs to help families and individuals in our local community meet their Basic Needs.
